It could look like a bad imitation of a sangria, but it really means a lot to me. It reminds me of when I was a child in my hometown in Italy, and my father used to prepare this for lunch. The smell of the peaches covered in wine was amazing. I still remember it like it was today, as I remembr I anxious I was to end the meal just to taste them!
Ingredients for 1 person:
1 yellow peach, well firm
1 glass of good red wine, to taste
Peel and slice the peach; put in a glass and cover with wine. Let rest 30 minutes before serving.
